A dark mode feature . Now that I think about it , im legit mind-blown i've never tried to put this site in dark-mode . Every site/app i use is in dark mode, because dark mode is just so good , its the future .
@JohnnyShoulder Hey! I did indeed make some threads sticky the other day. There are a fair few threads that get constant use, and it just made sense to me to make them that little bit easier to access.
LOL i just emailed this directly to the push square guys... before seeing THIS forum. so here's my idea:
themes, or a way to view the site bright mode or dark mode. it'd come in handy on my eyes!
The Nintendo Switch is the only console that predicts its own future... after 5 years of nothing but weaboo games, you're ready to switch to another console!
@Pixelated thanks for your reply/email. We will be adding a dark mode at some point early next year... however I don't think we'd go beyond that in terms of 'themes'. You're not the first to request a dark mode
@antdickens its mainly this bright white-ish playstation graphic background with the playstation button symbols. its a bit too bright. i have a browser extension that lets me dim the site, but, it wont dim THAT graphic lol. there's also a dark blue graphic that is similar, i wish we could change to that.

I would like to see the PushSquare staff give more appreciation for unpopular / casual games for kids on PS4 / PS5 by give them some articles and review with fair judgement. I mean there are quite a bunch of games for kids on PS4 / PS5 to be reviewed or announced in article, even games like Racing with Ryan or My Universe games or Paw Patrol, etc.
Not everyone play AAA Western games.
@Anti-Matter They already do mini reviews for more niche titles. Plus I’m not sure anyone really needs to see a bunch of 3/10 reviews for licensed games. You might enjoy those games but I really doubt they’d review well and it would just be an excuse for more people in the comments to dump on the sort of games you enjoy.
@Anti-Matter There were definitely reviews for a boxing game and that YouTuber game recently. You just have to realise that this site will be catering to the most people possible and you might be better looking for a specialised site to review those sorts of games.
@Anti-Matter yeah, as the others have said, we have to be selective to which games we cover with our limited resources and which are most likely to be informative to the majority of readers. Therefore it's more likely to be reviews for the bigger releases, but we do write mini-reviews for some interesting smaller games.
We do try to review as much as possible, but as @antdickens said we have to be somewhat selective. Feedback noted, though — if there's anything that particularly jumps out in that category then we'll definitely try to cover it where possible.
