Yousef-

As someone who’s been completely out of the loop with current gaming I’m somehow still not really aware of what crimson desert is nor have I seen much discussion of it in my circles, I can’t tell if this a bless or a curse, or something in between.

Like it says in the book, we are blessed… and we are cursed.
What ******* book?

@LiamCroft no worries. I'll take you on your word. I hope if you saw my joke it wasn't taken personally, either. I believe some other users may have been somewhat harsher in tone 😅

I would still say that maybe it could have been foreseen as appearing to be more negative than balanced during an editing stage, but i'm sure it is very disappointing for some, so it can be passed as meeting whatever criteria is considered when creating a title.

I do believe the 'hype' was overblown anyway, and most regular gamers didn't think it was to be the second coming of some gaming messiah (i'd hope they didn't think that, anyway) So in a way the article was mostly aimed at those with already inflated hopes and those who were not expecting gaming perfection thus felt it was not a case of "major disappointment" from that more neutral standpoint.

I do believe, in spite of appearances, and in spite of the general comments that the site does get, that most Push Square readers are more balanced, middle of the road people, and in some cases catering an article toward one extreme only encourages both the other extreme and those in the center to react more than they usually would. Which you could analyse as being the basis of click-bait as a phenomenon. So it may not be intentional as such, but it may look and appear to be that to a lot of people wanting to see a middle-ground used for articles that aren't specific opinion-led pieces.

Who knows 🤷‍♂️ it has gone on long enough, and the effects on the site will be felt for a few weeks, I suppose. But then, back to normal, which i'm not sure is better or worse, anyway (in terms of the comment sections) 😅

If someone described me as balanced and middle of the road, I’d be terrified. All my days of anarchy would been for naught.
But you are correct.
