Hi, I have come across a rather seemingly random issue with my PS4. I went to try to install and play a game today and it started making a weird noise so, I took it apart to see what was wrong. Before I put the case back on and screwed the top piece back on top of the disc drive, I plugged everything back in, stuck a disc in and it read fine. So, I put it back together just for it to not read a disc and to make that noise again. So, I took it back apart and low and behold when I try to put the disc drive’s top piece back on and add screws it stops working. It’s not liking any kind of pressure. It plays just fine with the disc drive case unscrewed and loose. Could it be the ribbons? What causes this? Can this be fixed? How can I fix it? Do I need to just replace the parts?
