This is obviously a problem when travelling as it simply doesn‘t work without physical access to the PS4.
I already enabled automatic error reporting in the PS4’s settings but it doesn‘t help as the Report Problem screen still requires manual action.
Is there any solution to this or should I accept being unable to play for the remainder of my vacation from when the first crash occurs?
The game in question is Path of Exile, btw, which crashes pretty regularly without any of the proposed solutions helping at all. But from home I can at least deal with it.
Sure, that would generally be possible for some (not me, no one close to my place whom could do this), though I just can‘t accept this as the only solution. Can Remote Play really be this bad?
If an error occurs on the PlayStation 4, regardless of the reason for the error, the connection cannot be maintained via the Remote Play app. If a PS4 reboot or other troubleshooting steps are required, they must be performed on the console itself.
