@ralphdibny Yeah, like @Voltan says, the clarity of which version you’re playing and downloading is much better now. Clear demarcation with a “PS5” symbol or a “PS4” symbol (one is black and one is white) lies in the icon so as to make is obvious. With some games the system will still automatically download the PS4 version onto the HDD for some strange reason, but you can abort the download or delete it later. At least now we don’t have the issue with people playing the PS4 version of a game and not realizing that’s what they’re playing.

@render oh really, to be fair that queue went down pretty quickly. It's one of the reasons I actually stayed in it. I entered at position 14K the first time around and I was about 3.5K the second time
I'm not sure to be honest, bank queries seem to be luck of the draw really. I've had "the card rejected, text to confirm it's you" thing at a flipping petrol station once. It was so stressful because it was like ten minutes before the text came through and I was at a petrol station with no idea why my card wasn't working!
So you didn't go for it in the end? The most expensive bundle was still available later last night with no queue. I imagine it was going so quickly because people weren't really fancying the bundle once they got through the queue
@ralphdibny Ah man that does sound stressful. It's one thing getting it when you are sitting at home ordering something on the internet but it's totally another when you are in a situation where you've already taken the goods and then can't pay. Hopefully that doesn't happen too often!!
You know I didn't even bother to wait the second time as I just assumed that I'd missed my chance. You are right though, I didn't fancy the bundle either so I guess a lot of others didn't. The bundle I was looking at getting him was the Spider-Man Miles Morales + Red DualSense + Ghostrunner + Immortals. He definitely wants Spider-Man and an extra controller so it was the best of a mixed bunch really. He probably could have traded the other two games in for something else and at least recouped some of the investment.
It's better than some of the bundles that Game have been offering where they've been putting things like t-shirts in. I'm sure it's a good tactic for getting rid of stuff you can't sell though.

@render I was looking at that one too. The cheaper bundle with a camera was sold out but I don't really know what I'd use the camera for anyway to be honest. I did look up the other games and they are all worth under £30 sealed on eBay/cex so my brain told me not to go for it because even if I did sell them then I would still be paying over the odds for the PS5 and the controller
Oh yeah the Game bundles are trash. One of my colleagues was telling me he got a "good deal". I did the calculation in front of him and worked out he'd payed like 30 or 40 quid for a t shirt and a hat. What a load of pony! Shopto's may not be what people want but at least the games could arguably be sold for that price New & Sealed in a shop. I can't imagine anybody wanting to pay to wear an advert for Game though 😂
