Topic: Nat type keeps changing to 3 from 2

Basically what the title says. I've been going in my ubee router settings and setting up a static IP and port forwarding...ports or whatever. But it still goes back to nat 3 every few days when I play borderlands. I've looked at multiple videos and articles to fix this, but the nat still goes back to 3. My internet provider (spectrum) refuses to help me saying the modem router they provide is nat 2 only and I need to call Sony =/. You can't call sony right now because of covid. And their live chat is always congested so I end up waiting for several hours with no answer. And so on and so on. For some reason, someone else in the house has a ps4 with a nat 2 and hasn't had to do ANYTHING to change it back to 2. Doesn't need a static IP or anything. I'd like to get back to playing ps4 games with other people. Please help.

I think NAT type 2 is the best for playing PS4 online game. I used to NAT type 2 on my PS4 for the best performance. I also have the same problem with my PS4 before, but I get the solution that how to change NAT type 2 on your PS4 permanently from here: https://fixps5error.com/
