Tekken 8 (PS5)

$23.99/£17.49 (-40%/-50%)

Arguably the most explosive Tekken game yet, Tekken 8 is a truly bombastic fighter. Fundamentally, it builds on the already fantastic foundations of Tekken 7, but the new Heat system brings so much aggression to the series' trademark 3D gameplay. Featuring a healthy list of modes — both online and offline — a rock solid character roster, and the promise of many memorable battles, Tekken 8 is probably the franchise at its peak.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered (PS5)

$29.99/£26.99 (-40%)

Arguably the greatest PS4 game, upgraded and repacked for PS5, with cut content and an all-new roguelike inspired mode, which takes full advantage of Naughty Dog’s underappreciated third-person shooter gameplay. The Last of Us Part II Remastered will hold few surprises for those who’ve already played the original, groundbreaking outing – but that doesn’t make it any less essential.

Untitled Goose Game (PS4)

$8.99/£7.19 (-55%)

This game hardly needs an introduction; it spread like wildfire online, and remains a beloved little experience. Untitled Goose Game is about embodying the chaotic life of an antagonistic goose, living near a quaint English village. Each location has a selection of objectives to meet, and working those all out using a wide range of interactive objects is a constant delight. It may only be a few hours long, but few games are able to keep you grinning constantly from start to finish, and this is one of them.

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars (PS4)

$11.99/£9.99 (-60%)

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is a unique spin on the traditional RPG formula. Everything in the game is represented by cards — characters, weapons, combat abilities, and even the world map — and the result is very effective. It offers up a straightforward turn-based RPG with great presentation and some fun twists and turns. The combat may lose some steam later on, but there's a lot to enjoy here.

What Remains of Edith Finch (PS5)

$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)

What Remains of Edith Finch is a difficult game to talk about without spoiling what makes it special. It's a narrative-driven experience that only lasts a few hours, but it packs in so much inventive design and imaginative sequences that it will stick with you for longer than anything else. Playing as the titular Edith Finch, you return to her rickety, unusual family house and unearth what happened to everyone. It's emotional, surprising, characterful, and unique. Now also on PS5, there's no excuse to skip this excellent adventure.
