Enough of Ezio, it's time to see the Assassin's Creed series venture somewhere new.

"Among the following propositions, in which of the following historical periods and locations would you like one of the next Assassin's Creed games to take place?” the survey asks, listing eight hypothetical destinations.

Among the responses are Medieval China, Victorian London, Ancient Egypt and the American Revolution.

Recent rumours hinted that the next Assassin's Creed — confirmed for 2012 — is set to take place in Ancient Egypt, while others persist that the series is on the cusp of going modern day.

Out of the survey's options, we'd vote for Victorian London or Ancient Egypt, though all of the choices sound good. The real beauty of the Assassin's Creed franchise is its ability to explore settings completely ignored by other popular video game franchises.
