Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Will Feature Four-Player Co-Op. Hurrah.
CVG has put up a few teases regarding Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier; which is due to be revealed in the next issue of Official Playstation Magazine (UK).
Apparently the game takes place 10-15 years after Advanced Warfighter, meaning the Ghost squad have seriously advanced gear in this game. You’ll get to mess around with Stealth Cloaks, Armored Ground Drones and exo-Skeleton legs. CVG write, “The latter in particular is a game changer, as it means the Ghosts are now more agile and can jump, roll and generally throw themselves around the battlefield. It also opens the window for close quarters combat, which you’ll be seeing a lot of in Future Soldier.”
Most interestingly there will be four-player drop-in, drop-out co-op.
Sounds really interesting. There’s an eight-page preview in this months issue of Official Playstation Magazine, due on shelves March 16th. Check it out for more information.

Here’s your first-look at the new Prince Of Persia game set to release alongside the upcoming movie. Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is being developed on the Assassin’s Creed engine and is set between the PS2’s Sands Of Time and Warrior Within.
To be honest, as much as most people want to hate movie tie-in type things, it looks proper amazing.

We’re huge fans of the recent entries in the FIFA franchise. So good are those games, we never really imagined anyone else going out and making a new football game (yes, This Is Football is dead folks). But man, something about the ridiculous melodrama in this trailer has us moderately excited.
(Oh, before we forget, the game’s called Pure Football).

Splinter Cell's Totally Coming To PS3 In The Near-Future.
Ubisoft’s Max Beland has hinted what we all assumed, Splinter Cell is coming to the Playstation 3 at some point in the near future. Whether it’ll be Splinter Cell: Conviction or not – Beland ain’t so sure. But he definitely thinks Splinter Cell is coming to the PS3 at some point.
“I joined Splinter Cell after the exclusivity deal with Microsoft had already been signed, but there’s no reason why Splinter Cell couldn’t be on the PS3,” he told Edge.
“Conviction? No, because of the exclusivity deal. I know people keep talking about maybe, maybe not, [but] at Ubisoft Montreal I haven’t seen anyone working on PS3 for Conviction.
“If Microsoft wants an exclusivity deal, they don’t call me, it’s Yves [Guillemot, Ubisoft CEO] dealing with the business people. But yeah, I guess we could even be a PS3 exclusive if there’s a deal that makes people happy there.”
So there you have it: Splinter Cell is coming to the Playstation 3 soon. We’d assume Conviction will get ported within 12 months, depending how the game is received on 360 and PC.

1:1 Sword Fighting Thanks To Playstation Motion Controller? Yes Please.
The first Red Steel game on Nintendo Wii was a bit of disappointment. The follow-up looks hella awesome. And Ubisoft reckon it “could work fantastically” well on Sony’s upcoming Playstation Motion Controller.
He told VideoGamesDaily:
“I think it could work fantastically with the Sony wand,” he said. “With this kind of game you need a thumbstick, that’s the only real constraint. For walking around at least, I haven’t seen a solution.”
We’ve heard rumours that Sony have sent out wireless “nunchuck” devices to developers, suggesting a thumbstick solution is already there.
We wouldn’t mind seeing Red Steel 2 take the jump to HD and Playstation 3. Fingers crossed, eh folks?

Don’t you just love that phrase: “Bonfire Of Vanities”. If someone has used it already, it’d certainly make a fantastic song title. We’re thinking some dirty electro-grime trip-hop. Anyway, cool song names aside, Bonfire Of Vanities is the title for the latest Assassin’s Creed II DLC, which should hit the PSN tomorrow.
