An Image That Will Have Japanese Gamers Dizzy.
Practically confirming that Sony’s Playstation Portable will go on to sell at another 2million units in Japan, Capcom’s confirmed at a press event last night that Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is due for release on the handheld this year in Japan. Traditionally the Monster Hunter games on PSP have driven handheld hardware through the roof.
There’s not really much else to say at this point, other than that we imagine Sony are practically delighted by this news.

We’ve not been sure about Lost Planet 2. The original wasn’t particularly brilliant, and the demo (beta?) to the sequel didn’t do much to inspire us with confidence.

Will Resident Evil 6 Be Announced This Year? Probably Not.
When we think “whopping great big announcement” and Capcom, we think: “FIDDLESTICKS THIS IS GOING TO BE RESIDENT EVIL 6 ISN’T IT?!” Is no-one else in the same boat?
Awesomely, the announcement has come via the US-arm of the Playstation Blog (yay, Capcom still love Playstation), from the firm’s John Diamonon, who said in the comments, “Oh, one other thing. I’ll be back in April for a huge announcement. Stay tuned and let the speculation begin!”
Want amazing Capcom announcement now. Oh, and what happened to Resident Evil Portable?

We all know that the addition of Dudley to Super Street Fighter IV’s roster is the best thing that could happen to the game. So it’s nice to get a glimpse of the British boxer in action. “Let’s begin,” he declares in his BBC newsreader-like accent before beating Balrog to a pulp. In fact, with Dudley announced, we’re probably not going to talk about any other Super Street Fighter IV characters. Because, yo, Dudley’s here.
