The glacial backdrop of Arendelle will bring a touch of winter to Gameloft’s free-to-play kart racer Disney Speedstorm starting today, as the game’s latest season gets underway. Let It Go will bundle in a bunch of new racers, including Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Hans. As always, they’ll all have their own set of abilities and moves.

There’ll also be new Crew Members from the musical movies to unlock – including, yes, Oaken – alongside a fresh Golden Pass to progress. In fact, in response to fan feedback, the developer’s actually rebalancing this aspect of the release, so you’ll be able to progress quicker than before, and thus unlock more rewards.

In addition, the developer announced on Twitter that it’s lowering the price of items on the in-game shop starting with today’s update, and if you’ve already coughed up real money for microtransactions, then you’ll be eligible for a very hearty compensation package. All in all, it sounds like the French studio is banking on this season being a success.

And one other thing that could help is the addition of a trio of non-Frozen characters: Oswald, Ortensia, and WALL-E. It’s sounding like a pretty comprehensive update for the game, and one that should both bring back lapsed players and attract new ones. Will you be giving the kart racer a run for its money?
