It certainly looks like today is the day for developers to confirm that they're working on PlayStation 5 versions of games. Joining Scarlet Nexus is Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, which confirmed it would release a next-gen version as part of Inside Xbox's third-party gameplay reveal event yesterday. It was announced for Xbox Series X there, but you can now add the PS5 to that list.
Confirmed in a trailer uploaded by publisher Paradox Interactive, which is a repeat of yesterday's footage, the PS5 logo can now be seen at the end alongside the ever-present PlayStation 4. Therefore, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is indeed in development for PS5 too.
This is an excellent title to add to the growing list of PS5 games, with the vampire-inspired RPG looking particularly promising. Will you be playing Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 on PS5 or PS4? Share your decision in the comments below.

All that worry yesterday over nothing. Third party companies aren't going to be stupid, to maximize sales and profit they'll need to get their games on as many systems as possible. Unless an announcement is explicitly accompanied by a 'play first on' or 'console exclusive' tag in the trailer I'm going to assume every third party game is mulitplat.
I have a PC pre order. Epic Game Store had it for $42 in one of the Store sales, so could not resist.
But Glad the PS5 is now on the list also 👍
"We were "treated" to a few seconds of Madden NFL 21 and just over a minute of edited Assassin’s Creed Valhalla footage; the rest isn’t really worth mentioning at all"
Funny how now it's an excellent title, I'm not here to get into an argument and maybe I've just seen far too much hypocrisy and nonsense over the last 24 hours or so particularly with this game and how it doesn't look as good as TLOU2. Mini rant over
Yes it look like it could be a very good game and one I'll be keeping an eye on 😁
@carlos82 It's worth noting that I didn't write the article you're referring to. I really like the look of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.
@LiamCroft that is a very fair point
You know, never play the first game, is it worth it?
It's creepy, but it could be quite an interesting game.
So looking forward to this one, I hope more people play the original on PC, as long as they install the patches and mods since the game was rushed out.
That trailer is horrifying. 😆
Can I get this for the PS3? Asking for a friend lol
The start of the trailer made me think it were a game where the Joker is the main protagonist.
Listen to the kids thinking that graphics make a good game.
Id never even heard of the first game but this looks so good.
@badbob001 I totally thought that too, def thought the guy was going to turn around and be Joker initially!
I love the first game, I look forward to this one but boy did the ppl making this trailer love the joker-movie a bit to much..
Yep for sure! Im ecstatic for next gen horror!!!
Those city streets (and club) look WAY TOO empty though yeesh,
The character animations look stiff, almost woody .
I loooooooved the original but am alittle afraid this one is being stretched. Then again I just loved the starting out in like what 1800s and then going forward. Man I played that game over and over. I'll keep an eye on this one. I'll need a push probably not a big push but a push.
Is it just me or does this games graphics look a little janky?
PS4. No need to rush out and buy a new console yet.
@eumenes
I'll have to agree with you on that one.
