Media Molecule’s already had a crack at recreating LittleBigPlanet in Dreams, but this effort by TheTurtleKing514 is even more impressive. It’s... Well, if we didn’t tell you it was built in the Guildford-based developer’s PlayStation 4 creation suite, we could forgive you for thinking this is footage of Sackboy’s original PlayStation 3 adventure.
Perhaps the most impressive thing here is that the creator’s invested effort into little loading screens, just to complete the illusion of the original release. From the sound effects to the floaty physics, though, this is a pitch perfect conversion. It’s going to be fascinating to see what Dreams creators achieve in the next year or three, isn’t it?

If they managed to copy the floaty physics I wonder if they could undo the floaty physics and have it play like a typical platformer?
that was a poor recreation, hopefully someoe selse can do it better than this one we have here.

I wonder how long this took to get here. I'm worried about the time investment these projects are going to take. I'm thinking we'll get a lot of demos and not a lot of full games, it's just a large amount of time with not a lot of incentive.
@ILikeStake No incentive? Passion is the incentive. Look at all the mod makers over the years with half the tools they get here and look what they can do. Look at all the Minecraft creations etc.
Look at all the one person indie game makers that spend years on one small project. The incentive for these people is great tools to make their dreams happen.
Plus these things can make great portfolio pieces for future employers.

That is INCREDIBLE!!! I miss Sackboy + I know they won't but it would be MEGA-COOL if MM could do another LBP And make it very LBP1 English like I LOVED that game
They missed 1 of the bubbles and that irks me 😋
