Assassin's Creed Odyssey celebrates its one year anniversary this week, and Ubisoft is giving players a number of reasons to come back to its ancient Greek adventure. To start with, epic encounters will run throughout the month of October, with returning epic mercenaries and epic ships appearing daily. Take care of them and you'll receive an increased amount of orichalcum.
On top of all that bloodshed, the developer is promising a patch later in October. It'll mainly focus on bug fixes, but it still sounds like there'll be a reason to keep an eye on it, as Ubisoft says it'll be releasing more information across social media as it gets closer to release.
We don't know about you, but it feels strange to be saying that Odyssey's only a year old -- it feels like it's been around for ages. In any case, the developer's done a great job of supporting it all this time. Think you'll be diving back in to celebrate its one year anniversary? After about 200 hours to Platinum and all obtain all DLC trophies
I think I have had enough Odyssey
@VatoLoco47 I think you’ve Odysseen all there is to Odyssey.
@nessisonett Hahaha
@VatoLoco47 it takes 200hrs to platina odyssesy? im thinking of getting the gold edition as its on sale in australia in the psn strore, but ur 200hour platina put me off a bit?
@pimpjuice no it doesnt take 200 hours to plat @VatoLoco47 also said he or she got all of the dlc trophies. I got the plat for it and had about 100 hours played, but i did other stuff also. Im guessing you could maybe get plat in 60 hours if you really tried. But anyway, very long game, very much worth the money. One of my favorite PS4 games and without a doubt my favorite AC game.
@pimpjuice If you going only for Platinum without DLC it may only be 60-70 Hours from what some guides say. I did all the DLC and i like to take my time playing so that's why it probably took me alot longer
Any excuse to play this again and i'm in.
This game has been played at least once a week since release. It has so much to do and is one of the best looking and photogenic games out there. I haven't tired of it at all. I finally got the platinum a couple of months ago and since then I have been getting through the DLC. I'm on the last chapter of the DLC and will be sad that all the story will be done. In my opinion it has been the most enjoyable game I have ever played. The constant updates on an already extensive game are very much welcome
Looking forward to jumping back in, slowly climbing towards that plat
One of the best supported games this gen.
Seems from the above this was a good game for those with lots of time, But the time saver / xp booster did the game in for me. I traded after 2 days and got most my moneys back. Having to pay extra to play less because I have a busy life was a solid NO from me. Don't think I will look at another Ubi game unless they do away with that.
@BridgeToClarity Sorry to ask but, if the game is that bad, why did you put 100+ hour on it? If I find a game boring I'm done after 2-3h
The game that keeps giving.
Awesome experience for me, I loved it from beginning to the end and I recently bought the season pass on discount so I am ready to dive back into the Ancient Greece!
