Yes. You can sample PlayStation Now without purchasing a subscription with a 7-day free trial. However, you will need to enter your payment information before you can take advantage of the trial.

Is your internet connection fast enough for PlayStation Now?

In order to stream games over the internet, you'll need to have a fairly speedy connection. Fortunately, you can test the speed of your connection from the PlayStation Now app on your PS4. How do you access PlayStation Now on PS4?

On the PlayStation 4's main menu, you should have an icon for PS Now. Navigate over to it and press X to enter the app. Alternatively, you can go to the PlayStation Store and find PS Now in the main menu on the left-hand side.

Either way, you'll be presented with the main menu, and selecting a game will present you with an option to 'Get Started'. You'll be given the opportunity to use your free trial. Carry on and you'll be asked to enter payment information. Once you do, your first subscription payment will be taken after the free trial is over. Of course, you can cut to the chase and purchase either a 1 month, 3 month, or 12 month subscription straight from the PlayStation Store. After you've completed this transaction, you'll have unlimited access to the service's library of games.

Do you have PlayStation Now if you're a PS Plus member?

No. PlayStation Plus and PS Now are two separate services, and don't affect one another. If you want the benefits of both, you'll have to subscribe to the two services -- they aren't the same thing.
