When he wasn’t putting up 25 points in a convincing win for Oklahoma City Thunder against current NBA champs the Golden State Warriors, small forward Paul George was on the PlayStation Blog writing about his new PSone-inspired sneakers. The gorgeous Nike PG 2.5 x PlayStation Colorways come courtesy of a renewed collaboration between the star, Nike Basketball, and Sony. You may remember the previous, PlayStation 4-style shoes from earlier in the year.
“This time around, I wanted to take the design old school, back to my earliest days of gaming,” he said. “For me – as I’m sure many of you can relate – those memories date back to the original PlayStation. Working with Nike and PlayStation, we focused on bringing that original PlayStation inspiration to life in this new design.”
Some of the features on the sneakers include an illuminating tongue, which has the original four colour PlayStation logo on it. The PlayStation symbols are embossed around the sides, while there’s a strap across the top to lock your tootsies in place. “I’ve been a PlayStation fan ever since I was kid, so I’m excited about continuing to partner with a brand that I grew up loving,” concluded George.
The shoes will be available globally from 1st December, and you’ll be able to find out more about how to buy them via the Nike SNKRS app.

They look like something Marty McFly would wear.
You think they look good? They are gross.
Found the PG2 PlayStation branded ones selling for 1300GBP, but the regular version of that is close to 100GBP. Regardless of how far life will take me financial wise, I would never spend a thousand pounds on a pair of shoes. You have to be a moron.
Here's something that's way cooler than that and will probably cost less than that:

@kyleforrester87 C'mon man, they're great!
@sabaki08
Money is all relative to your income. If you are cash rich and want something then the cost does not matter.
@get2sammyb theeeeeyyy'reeee grrrrrrrrr...oss!
These are awesome, seriously tempted!
they're so ugly...
Those shoes represent everything that was wrong with the 90s. Sony should've backed out of this one.
Definitely screaming '90s.
@Deadlyblack Agreed. The PSone is pure 90s, sneakers are pure 90s... if I were listening to The Spice Girls whilst looking at these pictures I think my head would explode.
@Deadlyblack These uuhhhhh................ things must be targeted at collectors and diehard sony/nike fans. I imagine this thing comes with a hefty price tag
Hmm... What’s gonna be the fourth best thing we see on Thanksgiving?
@beemo Yeah it totally ruins it. 😑
@Amplified $110
@RedMageLanakyn there was nothing wrong with the 90's.
@beemo It should have been more subtle i dont care that he want to put his name on it.
@ellsworth004 They brought me my favorite consolebrand and thats enough to make the 90's great. 😁
@hotukdeals That's true.
