The Elder Scrolls Online is no stranger to incredibly well made CG trailers, so it's no surprise to see its upcoming expansion get one of its own. The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset launches early next month, and based on this video alone, it should provide a gorgeous landscape to explore.
Regular readers will know that we usually prefer a good gameplay trailer over cinematics, but in cases like this, we're prepared to just sit back and watch. Lovely stuff from start to finish.

Just a commercial. Show me gameplay. That said, I have Tamriel and didn't think it looked that great; seemed clunky; only played a bit of the beginning and once it hit 95Gb I couldn't justify keeping it installed.
This looks great. I always found the community a bit toxic on ESO, but if you stay away from the serious end game stuff and just like doing the quest lines, some dungeons & a bit of pvp it's a pretty good game. I dip in and out of it every so often, so may well give this a go.
Never played ESO but always been tempted as I loved oblivion and loved skyrim however.... I would much prefer a single player game to get my teeth firmly sunk into
Meh. Where is my single player Scrolls game? I have been waiting this whole gen...
@Cycologist Holy Crapzoids! 95GB?! DCUO is less than 40GB (I believe) and that game is far older than ESO...Makes me wonder about FF14 too though. Anyone know how big the file size is today?
@TheFatDelinquent Yeah, ESO is bigger than everything on my laptop. I believe the 95Gb is without Morrowind DLC (i never bought it) and def. without Summerset. My next biggest is GT Sport at 83+. Some others have said CoD III gets over 100 with all the DLC. Game sizes are ridiculous. I believe games for PS5 will hit 200Gb.
@Cycologist Hopefully home gigabit plans will be alot more cheaper by then, as well as the modems and cables etc required to reach such speeds.
I played the demo of ESO and I thought it was a bit naff to be honest especially compared to FFXIV.
I'll never understand the hate for CG, I for one love a good cutscene!
