Bungie is promising changes to how many of Destiny 2's systems work. At this point in time, it's fair to say that there are a lot of players who are unhappy with the shooter's endgame content, and that negativity has been exasperated by the fact that Curse of Osiris is looking a bit underwhelming.
However, as is usually the case with a new expansion, the developer will be launching a big update alongside it. Game director Luke Smith says that we can expect "economy updates (vendors & acquiring their gear, tokens, legendary shards), investment updates (new reward systems for weapons & armor) gameplay updates, and more."
The studio plans on sharing details at some point this week -- possibly during its next livestream, which is scheduled for the 29th November. Here's hoping that the upcoming patch addresses the issues that players have with the game in its current form.

Luke smith deserves a smack in the face the ignorant asswipe, they think they had gotten away with it but alas its come back to bite them. Its obviously it was all to make people spend for engrams now the question is his are they going to change it to make it look like its beneficial to players. Expect when the fixes happen some server maintenance to co exists with it for few days after.
Like doubling xp needed to level up after they removed scaling
Destiny 2 needs a lot of work. I get that they tried to make it more accessible to non hard-core players, but it seems to have come at the expense of alienating their core fans. I still love me some destiny, but it's fighting for my time now.
Destiny 2... never forgive!!!!!
I love Destiny, but i've stopped playing D2, its just not fun, the grinding isnt anywhere near worth sinking countless hours into, it needs a lot of work really. But im glad they are being pro-active in tackling it all and hope to be back in the Tower running about soon
I havent played destiny 2 for last 3 weeks or so and all the stories coming out about Destiny make me less likely to go back to it not sure after the good things in The Taken King they then mess this game up so much
If you didn't buy it, you didn't get experience scammed.
Read Gamespot's impression on D2's first expansion and looks like players are destined to get burned again.
