It’s been over a month since Mass Effect: Andromeda’s awful eyes were improved, and we’d like to think that BioWare’s been busy behind-the-scenes. The good news is that it’s launching a new patch for its maligned role-playing game tomorrow (or potentially today depending on your timezone); the bad news is that at the time of typing we don’t yet know what it does.
With the greatest of respect to the developer and all those that liked the game at launch, this update better bloody be about a mile long, because there’s plenty that needs fixing. Even with all of the patches in the world, though, we’re still not convinced the company can ever transform Andromeda into something that lives up to the series’ legacy – its issues run much deeper than bugs and glitches.

That right there sums up why I haven't even finished Andromeda yet. The first 3 I played through to completion, ignoring all other games, because they drew me in. I'm not even remotely interested in hopping back in after completing 3 planets.
At least they're trying to fix the mess that they made.
To be honest, Bioware should've just delayed the game and made sure all was right in the world of Mass Effect before releasing it.
@RedMageLanakyn Yeah, I stopped on my third planet and haven't had any itch to pick it back up. I similarly played ME1-3 through with near 100% attention. OH WELL, wish I'd pre-ordered Horizon or Persona instead.
Isn't early access wonderful!
I was severely disappointed with andromeda after loving the first three to death. Can't bring myself to play it anymore.
I'd much rather that they'd just start work on an Andromeda 2 that addresses a lot of the issues with the first one. I liked the cast of characters, but there's absolutely no way I'm going back in and playing the game again, even for DLC, even if they patched it to play "We Are The Champions" every time I did something awesome. I'm just so done with it. Far too many great games to play to bother with this.
This thread is missing the obligatory Sara Ryder gif.
Too little too late.
One of the biggest flops in gaming ever.
Disappointed doesn't even come close with this game. Respect them for continuing to try and improve the game of course, but to be honest the bugs and graphical oddities are the least of their problems. Not sure I'll ever go back to Mass Effect now. I'd sooner replay the original trilogy in 4K if they did a re-release.
Damage done really. Don't release till an early access game next time!
This was quite a fun read in relation to someones disappointment with the game.

Not a prefect game but never played one of those. Also never played a game that does not need patching. It does not play like a traditional mass effect but then again the 3 original games also evolved. Especially between one and two. I like that it plays more like dragon age inquisition. Also the multi-player is so much fun. Mass Effect series was never know for its good graphics or animations.
Love the first 3, words can't do justice, but words can't sum my frustration with this game either.
Bioware is just a shadow of former self, sadly even if get a new Kotor I don't think that will be awesome as should.
Least they're trying to fix it but it's too late the damage is done they've ruined a beloved franchise.
@Frank90 They should let Obsidian do a new KOTOR. Be nice to have another dark look at the STAR Wars universe
