We've chalked this up as a rumour for now, but you can send us to Rapture if it doesn't eventually happen. South African retailer Raru – we know, we know – has listed The BioShock Collection for release on the PlayStation 4. There's no original artwork so the retailer could just be acting presumptuously, but this series is surely too popular to avoid remaster fever.
The date for the compilation is listed as 27th November, which is a Friday – a day when new titles tend to deploy in the nation. The retailer also has a bit of track record for leaking unannounced projects, so take that as you will. If real, we suspect that the set will boast all three PlayStation 3 entries of the philosophical first-person franchise. Would you be willing to wield your wrench all over again, though? Honestly, we would.

Real or not, I'd forgotten how bloody brilliant the BioShock games were, so I appreciate the reminder.

@Splat Personally, I really like them both. I think all three games have big problems, but when I looking back at them, they were so original and unique.
I love this series, i remember how when the first game was coming out on Xbox 360, i downloaded the demo to see what all the fuss was about, i was hooked. There was some time ago a picture of how Bioshock 1 would appear on PS4. Looked good. I don't care if they don't' add anything new besides updated graphics and frame rate. I'll take what I can get and give my older brother my PS3 copies since he just got a PS3.
I couldn't get into the first two but I loved the third one.
I would probably interested in this. I only got to play Infinite because I never had a PS3 until the end of its lifecycle. I no longer have said PS3 because it was being neglected heavily when new releases for PS4 started coming out in a steadier stream.
Would really like this. Bioshock 1 is one of my favourite games ever while Infinite was a very good game too. Didn't really get into bioshock 2, just didn't capture me. Would like to replay the series again though
All over it! BioShock was the first game I played on a Gen 7 system, so I'd love to go back and play again.
Never played them so like Uncharted ill be wanting to give them ago.
I don't care what they add or exclude, Bioshock will look NUTS on PS4.
Please, please let this be real. Would be my most requested remaster behind only a mass effect trilogy and skyrim/oblivion remaster. Let this be real. After all its not as far fetched as my dreams of a medievil reboot.

ok finally a remake that makes sense! bioshock was amazing! and 2 and 3 were good too. makes sense to bring em to ps4. at least for people who havent played them yet.

Love one and two, but infinite just, couldn't get into it. Looked pretty sure, but compared to the first two it was boring.
I'll hold onto my ps3 versions.

Good games but with Destiny, Metal Gear (plus online soon) then Fallout 4 and Battlefront just a couple of weeks before this I really can't see how I'll have any time left over for these or indeed my family
They're brave to release this collection around the same time as Fallout 4, Assassin's Creed, Black Ops 3, Star Wars Battlefront, Rainbow Six Siege etc.
I think I will pass. I would definitely prefer they made a BioShock for the Vita instead.
I thought the studio behind BioShock said that they weren't making anymore BioShock games and were also down sizing the team. I also heard that they were moving into the mobile phone sector.
@WARDIE yea, irrational for the most part shut its doorsdown, sad as they were one of the very few major developers in my neck of the woods. But 2k owns the bioshock ip, so we will have more. 2k marin were behind bioshock 2 if im not mistaken, as it was actually not an irrational games bioshock.
I would love it if they remastered the bioshock series. I love having some of my favourite games available on my PS4, which is why i bought tlou remastered, dishonored the definitive edition and will eventually buy the nathan drake collection. Bioshock was up there on my most wanted remastered's as well as the quantic dream games and the kingdom hearts hd remix's. PS, so happy that 2.8 is PS4 exclusive
This is great news. Bioshock 1 was the best, 2 was better gameplay wise but the story wasn't as good as 1. Infinites story was lsd tripping garbage but the gameplay was awesome. I would love to see a new game like burial at sea where you play in pre fallen rapture.
I liked all 3 tbh...Imma storyline kinda guy...i couldn't just play infinite and not the other 2...bioshock 2 was different from the other 2..thats what made it dope..the fact u can become a "big daddy" (pause) was the added bonus...but knowing sony......"disappointment awaits" 😧
