It's been out for a little while on PC now, but consoles have finally nabbed Dragon Age: Inquisition's rather hefty patch. The download makes dozens of tweaks to little bits and pieces of the role-playing game, and as such, it doesn't fix or add anything too significant.
That said, a common complaint from fans regarding a lack of party banter has been addressed. As you're travelling the title's world, your allies will chat to one another quite regularly, but the random nature of the system meant that sometimes, dialogue wouldn't trigger as often as it should have. With the update, however, the developer's now altered the chance factor to supposedly make it a more likely occurrence.

Loved the party banter. So spontaneous and funny. Iron Bull is top grade banter material- throw him and Dorian together and just watch the humor unfold lol...
@JaxonH yeah, that's what I usually went with along with Cassandra, often flipped between Sera and iron bull
Did you seriously just drop a Martin Prince reference? If so, I tip my hat to you sir. My wife and I quote that whenever we're not interested in whatever the other is saying.
Having Sera with anyone is always a fun thing to do, I love everyone questioning her methods all the time
That will be great for whenever i play through again. Which i know i will at some point this year. Too good not to.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi
Do you think they're gonna release DLC for Inquisition? I'm dying to get some more, but so far no mention of anything
I really don't think so, I don't even think they sorted out the keep yet, I traded in my copy but I'll be rebuying it when the title hits the bargain bucket.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi @JaxonH There is going to be DLC, but it'll have timed exclusivity on Xbox platforms. No idea when it's set for release, though.
I'll re buy when its eventually released then, kinda makes sense trading in early and replaying maybe next year or something, at least to me anyway.
The conversations are lovely in DA:I but there were times that Id not hear any for ages. I enjoyed Solas debating freedom and free will with Ironbull....and some exchanges between Cole and Blackwall were excellent. I barely used Sera or Varric in my 1st play through as my own character was an archer. On my next play I'll be a mean hard ass female warrior or Mage and use Sera and Varric more and hear their banter...it's good the update has hit. I'll play thru Farcry 4 and then hit this again.
At the end, my party must have ran out of conversation topics as Solas would just keep going on and saying that Iron Bull was a "soulless, mindless drone". It grated after a while haha
