The verbose Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars was a secret PlayStation 3 smash, never necessarily netting the plaudits of the platform’s most popular titles, but quietly cultivating a passionate fanbase all the same. Over six years since its original release, the title is still a favourite among fans, and commands a sizeable online community to this very day. It’s about time for a sequel, then, don’t you think?
Rocket League has been milling around in alpha on PC for a little while now, but is finally ready to line up on the PlayStation 4. For those unfamiliar with the series, it essentially sees you playing footie with nitro augmented RC cars – it’s more fun than it sounds. This sequel will ship with a slew of improvements, including a Season Mode, customisation options, and intuitive replay tools for those that want to capture their greatest goals.
Still not entirely sold? The trailer embedded below should do the trick. The next-gen release will deploy in Spring 2015, and will be playable at PlayStation Experience later this week. Day one.

YES!
Wow. What did I just see...
Looks pretty hard, to be driving a car at a fast speed and aim your trajectory and bounce hop perfectly to hit the ball.
YEAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!
@JaxonH It is, but it's incredible fun.
@JaxonH its a sequel to deep breath supersonic acrobatic rocket powered battle cars on the ps3 (EPIC game&theme) its not as hard as it looks if you have a ps3 i'd recommend checking it out (but check server activity first)
