Sony’s shown off the first images of God of War: Ascension’s unnecessarily large Collector’s Edition. The $79.99 bundle includes an 8” statue of anti-hero Kratos, a premium steelbook case, a double XP multiplayer unlock, a DLC season pass, a copy of the game’s soundtrack, a dynamic theme, and an avatar pack. If you’d prefer everything without the statue, then you’ll be able to purchase that as part of the Special Edition, but only in Europe.

Finally, if you pre-order the game from participating retailers, you’ll secure the Mythological Heroes Multiplayer Pack, which includes four armour sets based on some of Greece’s most memorable heroes.
