Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault Features Tower Defense

Posted by Thomas Whitehead

As well as online, unlockables and more

Ratchet & Clank: Full Front Assault hits PSN this fall, and developer Insomniac Games has taken to the PlayStation blog to share some details. Aside from the series-standard third-person gameplay and variety of crazy weapons, this new entry has a twist: tower defense.

As well as tackling invasions in person, you'll need to plan, strategise and build a base to help repel enemies. We trust it'll have some peculiar weapons included, but could provide a good contrast from running around and blasting the bad guys away. The title will include five levels across three worlds where you repel alien armies, with split-screen or online coop for those that want to play with friends. Upgrades, unlockables and a to-be-announced online mode will apparently provide plenty of replay value in the download, so we'll keep our eyes peeled for more details.

Can anybody explain to me how "QForce" translates to "Full Frontal Assault"? Does that make ANY sense at all?

That looks like cover box art, isn't this a PSN only game?

they said they had to do that because of the difficulty of making the pun "Full Frontal Assault" translate in all of the EU languages.
