Just a quick question i know this may sound dumb but do the PS Vita on the cartridge take up space on the memory cards like a download, i know saves will but does the full game file as i just ordered a new memory card (16GB) cause my 8GB memory is full already and i only have 3 games on it (Uncharted, Teraway and Gravity Rush).

the games themselves take a little space but not much. However if the game requires patches then those can take lots of space

Thanks, so the games take a little bit of memory even though they are on the cartridge, so i could get a lot of games on a 16GB card

I use a 16GB card in my PSTV & I've managed to get 14 games installed with about 2GB left over. I only have Killzone Mercenary physial too, all the others are digital downloads. It only really becomes an issue when downloading the 3GB+ games, but most games seem to fall between 1 - 2GB. 16GB should suffice if your planning on keeping with the physical carts

Digital games are the only thing that would kill your memory. If you have game cartriges, you should be able to fit quite a few games on your storage.

I'll take the Vita to the grave with me, even if Sony won't.

I have a 16GB and regularly have 15-20 games on it, but granted a lot of these are smaller games. As others have said, if you're buying cartridges you'll be fine, and even so with a 16GB you'll be fine if you don't mind the occasional bit of chopping and changing (just remember to upload your saves to the cloud before you delete anything)! I personally will be upgrading to a 64GB as soon as I can afford to, but I have quite a lot of stuff and hate having to clear space and wait for things to download!

From 16/08/15 I’m going for sober for six months to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice. Donations can be made here and anything you can offer is greatly appreciated: https://www.justgiving.com/Stephen-Butler5

Wish me luck!
