looks like it’s gonna be mediocre tbh . i don’t know when the reviews drop but from the videos i’ve seen of the game on the ps5 store , it doesn’t look all that .
when it drops i’ll have to watch some streams of it . i suggest watching some streams , i think they help better than reviews
@WCB GROOVY. Tempted by this. Love this series, although the pricing seems a tad high for me. (although that said IDK how much multiplayer games are supposed to cost)
@nomither6 nah, just watched a lot of youtube vids. I love the films too much to worry too much if it gets 5s or 7s.
Gonna wait up until midnight and check to see if the servers are up and running.

@nomither6 Same here man, i really hope this game ends dbd, as all dbd devs care about is pushing out new content and revealing character's sexuality rather than actually fixing the game and listening to their players, so i really can't wait for their game to be dead.
@TheNomadLad heh , if you really want to even call it content at this point . it’s essentially been the same game since release with still only one damn mode that’s so outdated , they won’t add anything more to do , or even fix the horrendous balance or lack thereof . their “new content” releases is just more perks at this point and they don’t even bother releasing new maps anymore , they couldn’t even release a map compensating for the removal of hawkins .
it irks me to no end that their game kinda refuses to die , despite how dog ***** it is . old players leave and new players keep coming through the revolving door , with streamers being the backbone who make a living off playing it . haven’t played that trash since september 2021 and hope i don’t ever want to again . it was how unbalanced it was that primarily made me stop .
So after around 5 games I have to say this is fun as hell. I played the tutorial first, then a solo game with AI bots which didn't reward any xp, then I got stuck into the mp. Finding games straight away, no problems there so far. Only played survivor so far, mostly AoD Ash who is a great one to use.
I'm hearing people are having trouble with Xbox (didn't update the date on digital copies) and PC, but PS5 is golden.
I can see myself putting in the hours with this, hopefully they keep the updates coming in the years ahead.

@nomither6 exactly man, its so unbalanced to the point where most of the time it ruins my mood when i play, but what can i say.. i usually get too bored and find myself getting back to the game, and i learnt not to care too much when i get a hook camper or a tunneling killer, i just got used to the game being unbalanced and basically *****, but i find myself so bored and with not a lot of time on my hands that i'd prefer to just jump in a ***** online game for a few matches everyday rather than start a single-player game which would require some level of commitment if i'm to enjoy it (single-player games are for the weekends in my case).
and i totally agree, i believe twitch streamers are the reason Dbd is still alive, i've known about the game through twitch streamers, and i bought it because i became a regular on some of these channels and it made me feel how fun the game can be, but still i hope Evil Dead sends dbd to its grave
@nomither6 Can i ask what other MP game did it for you ?
and btw i do play other MP games,like i play Apex Legends (but i'm not always in the mood to get dunked on), i also from time to time play Deep Rock Galactic (although i've always played it solo).
anyway how is Evil Dead going for you so far man?
Not sure if it's just a few of us that play, but does everybody else playing this think it's bloody hard in single player mode ?
Me and other people I know, just cannot get off the first level lol.
