Topic: NBA2K16

So since this was free this month I decided to give it a try. I have to say control wise I am really liking this game the career mode however is pure garbage. It is so freakin boring and the stereotypical poor kid from the projects is so overused. Not only that but it's nothing like other career modes in sport games where you get to design your character and even make choices. It feels like this should be some kind of movie rather then a game.

Now I can see why this game was free. Anyone else come to this conclusion?

well i disagree. NBA 2k16 is the best basketball game money can buy. What would you prefer that piece of dung NBA live ea sports game over 2K16?.

@Bazza78: Oh I agree it's better then Live. It's just the career mode in 2K16 is very bad and doesn't feel like a career mode should in a sports game. You obviously didn't read the whole post.

I have tried and failed for 3 days to download nba 2k16 in its entirety, the first 7gb is fine - the additional 40+ gb keeps stalling.

Just what the hell is going on? I've posted screen grabs in the pushsquare community if anyone's on the ps4.

@themcnoisy: I noticed that it is there to load and go into, but on launch, the progress is alway on "35%" and will let me play a quick game between CLE and GSW , but that's it.

Is that what you have?

I deleted it last night completely as I needed an update for bloodborne. 3 days I was waiting. I have 1 trophy for scoring a 3 pointer on a break.

More people with the issue. Exactly what I'm having. Psn is a joke man, a complete joke. I'm scared to put my ps4 on for another night of checking downloads. Woo hoo.

@themcnoisy: are you sure its not your connection? I have 200meg bb wired. And i downloaded both nba2k16 and gone home simultaneously in 15 minutes!

As mentioned I can play a friendly as Cleveland vs another team with no commentary, but the 40gb file with the rest of the data is downloading and always stalls.

Its not the connection its the download.

I'm gonna leave nba to stew until next week and download in its entirety from start to finish without starting the game. Maybe that's what broke it. Pity I wouldn't mind playing online with you guys.

If anyone knows anyone in Sony can they let them know the nba 2k16 download is broke.

I'm going to retry as I like the nba games (2k5 was brilliant) and feedback. How can we get this resolved?

@themcnoisy: nba2k16 had fully installed by the time i'd finished one game with cleveland. I have virgin media superhub 200meg tho....

Its quite clear as three of us in this thread have had the issue its a real problem. I cant play the game in its entirety having never had a problem like this before.

@themcnoisy: thursday 10.30 pm. What is your connection speed?

@Bazza78: 25mb-50mb download, around 35mb is usually a test connection when everyone's asleep at 11pm. 50mb when I'm off work in the weekday morning downloading. Upload is between 4.5mb-10mb+. Same conditions 4.5mb when everyone's using internet at peak times, 7mb at 11pm, 10mb in morning. I'm connected via cable for a more stable connection, the rest of the house is wireless.

Its not my internet, too many people have the same problem.
