Topic: 1440p at 120hz vs 4k at 60hz

With the new update to PS5 you can select 1440p resolution. I currently have the TCL 75r635 VRR support but no HDMI 2.1. Which would be better for older and newer games(generally) 1440p at 120hz (locked no VRR) or 4K VRR enabled but locked at 60hz due to the lack of HDMI 2.1?

i dont know all the tech details but 1440p was more for monitors. your tv is designed to run at 4k and will be best doing so
