No Doubt Are Suing Activision Over Their Appearance In Band Hero.

Oh no, the whole Kurt Cobain thing is back again. No Doubt are suing Activision over their appearance in Band Hero, claiming they have been turned into a “circus act” after their likenesses are available for use in the game’s full 60 track line-up. According to No Doubt, their likeness was only supposed to be used in the game’s three No Doubt tracks.

Blimey Activision. The one-off thing with Kurt Cobain we kinda got… But for this to happen twice?

    Your fans - you know, those peasants who spend their money to put you where you are - want to play as you. It's a likeness in a game, for fuck sake - it doesn't affect you, and no-one thinks any less of you because of it. People only think less of you when you make stupid moves/outbursts like this. You are ONLY musicians, you're nothing particularly special.

    Cobain (or more precisely, Courtney Love), No Doubt and any other pretentious primadonna twats need to get over themselves.
