I have played RE since the originals and I actually prefer the newer releases that focus on survival horror with puzzles and mind shifting depth (Biohazard/Village). I would have honestly preferred a whole Grace campaign. I get that they are trying to appeal to both generations but it's a very hard concept to execute when you're combining such a heavy contrast in horror styles. Action horror/waves of enemies is very exhausting to me as it just feels like a bot firing range. Now that I see that Leon's section dominates most of the playtime I am not really in a rush to go and buy it. I can only really judge more about the flow of the game when I play it. I think this is a fair review from what I've read. Definitely struggling with its identity ever since the shift to 7&8.
