Digital Eclipse has a history of developing new/enhanced/reworked versions of games in their collections. Disney Classic Games had a "definitive" version of MD/Gen Aladdin, Making of Karateka had updated versions of Jordan Mechner's Deathbounce and Karateka, Tetris Forever had Tetris Time Warp, and Atari 50 had VCTR-SCTR and modern reworks of Yars Revenge, Breakout, and Haunted House.
With that said, I'm predicting a fresh port of Puzzle Kombat and an enhanced (actually playable!) version of Digital Eclipse's own MK4 GBC.
