there are big distinctions that people need to make when talking about RE5 and 6 in my opinion: they are good games, but they are not good Resident Evil games, and the same goes for RE4.
The later RE games are fun to play, and if you don't take them seriously then they are a lot of fun, but the franchise has been going steadily away from what it is since Code Veronica. RE is about survival horror. It is tight corridors, resource management, spooky environments etc.
I don't think the later RE games would get nearly as much bad press if they weren't mainline RE games. I wish they were just spin offs while the main games kept their survival horror roots. Fingers crossed that RE7 goes back to basics.
@shingi_70 they aren't cancelling any of their other shows, this podcast is just a fan requested addition to the range of content they are currently doing.
@xMEADx Except that the drop rate is based off a RNG so there's nothing to "play right" about it. It's random. You can't be "good" at random. If the drop rate was brought up by even a little bit then people wouldn't even want to do this
yeah its clearly not the update they were teasing. it's indeed bad timing but the only other answer would have been to put off this update and add the stability updates to the next "big" one. that would have been a bad move on Sony's part though IMO cause if theres problems with stability then they really need to push out fixes for it as soon as they possibly can. its better for everyone that way, although slightly annoying for all of us right now
@FullbringIchigo changing the hard drive on the PS4 is one of the easiest things ever. I understand your hesitation but its by far the better solution IMO. Taking the console apart isn't close to what you have to do, you simply slide the shiny surface on the top off and unscrew the HDD from the tray.
