Can't believe this is still going on. It seems as if they are taking the necessary steps though. I wouldn't be surprised if we get the ps plus version with the store update next week, possibly with a bit more compensation, bonus cars or something, nothing crazy, or even a lowered price for the full game upgrade, they'd win bak a lot of people with that.

Still can't believe what a mess this is. Absolutely horrendous launch, terrible communication, and quite possibly a marketing scam to get ps plus users to buy the 49.99 version for fear of few actually upgrading. It is obviously only a conspiracy theory, one that is 97.6% probably not true, but the moment I saw that the full 59.99 version said "unavailable to purchase"(immediately after I read a few reviews) was very conspicuous to say the least.

Extremely frustrated with this, and I'm not the kind of person to get all huffy about these sorts of things, but don't lea your consumers along with a million false promises an then not communicate openly when you haven't delivered on said promises.

Still can't download the ps plus edition. And now it says the full price edition is unavailable to purchase. But the reduced price option is still up. Come on sony. Get it together

@get2sammyb I totally understand, I've had a lot of Friends not get into turn based jrpgs, the nes and Snes final fantasy were some of my earliest in depth video game experiences, at the age of 4. So they definitely shaped my interests.

@FullbringIchigo dream drop distance got a lot of hate but it's my second favorite entry in the series. I know this is a playstation website, but I just gotta say an had remake of dream drop distance for woo u would sell like crazy.

I'll most likely play this demo twenty times waiting for the game to come out, although I still need to play xiii-3. Kingdom hearts hd remix 2.5 I suppose will also tide me over.

I've had the game since the midnight launch, logged plenty of hours, and have yet to beat the story line. I'm taking my sweet time( already level 24), it's all about what people are into. I'm a huge RPG fan, never been that into FPS games, but the loot collecting and grinding are things I'm used to and enjoy. For me the story hasn't shoved me along or seemed underwhelming, it's just been the story of the game I'm playing.

Great review, you definitely nailed it. Ive been playing a lot since the midnight launch. Level 20 and all that. Definitely a few things that could have been presented better i.e repetitive tasks and such. But overall i am loving this game. Im not a huge fan of fps games but this one just clicks with me.

Cant wait to boot this up. Fantastic review, i was already excited to play this. Now i am ecstatic!

@get2sammyb i agree haha. Didnt know that this existed till a few months ago. Still havent come to terms with it.

Here in central US i signed on a few hours ago and it immediately said under maintenance(ps4). After an hour or so of playing offline i turned it iff and back on snd signed in, no problems since. Played a few matches online in Injustice: Gods Among Us.

@zakies thats where im at. Just want to play some games online with some pals. Any word from sony other than "you know what the problem is and we are trying to fix it" timeframes are something people kill for.

Sad to hear this, 6 isnt necessarily a bad score but i was hoping for a 7 or 8. Was really excited for this game, now i may wait for price drop or ps plus to pick it up.

Well thats heading in the right direction for sure. Next, mp3, themes, ability to play mp3 tracks in game, ability to set screenshots as your background image, folders and organization, and then just try to get games out on time and we're solid.

Yeah ive only got the reaogun trophy, so close to platinum.

Still need to get this. I dont own a single retail game on ps4, only downloadables/indies. Transistor,resogun, outlast, etc. There are so many to keep me occupied.

I got this immediately, love resogun so much. Season pass is a steal of a deal. Its a struggle staying up in the top 1000 in the leaderboards, which makes the game that much more addictive.

Does anyone know when this will go live? Im a huge Resogun fan and have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of new content. Just wondering about the patch, not the dlc, i realize that doesnt launch until monday i believe.

@get2sammyb i swear you are always talking about Medievil. Which is fair, because the first one is amazing. I would love another game in the series, there is sooo much they could do with that world.

I did definitely notice this mechanic for the first time in god of war on ps2. After that it seemed to be popping up in lots of different games. I agree with the sammy that this has been sorely overused to convey a feeling tension or struggle. Developers need to stop copying what popular franchises have proven to be successful and try reaching into their own creative box.

Hey!! Its been awhile since i actually left a comment. Im really excited for this update, hopefully there are capabilities added that sony ha yet to announce, for example adding themes and being able to put your own music onto the hard drive, even just being able to change the coloring a bit on the main menu display would be fantastic.
