From what I can tell... People are leaving it. I spoke to PlayStation last year about consumer trends and I went in heavy about backlogs and how long term sub services will suffer. Subs are great for music and movies as they are limited in time from start until completion. 1-2 hours. Games take 100s of hours these days. Time people don't have. I encouraged shorter 10-20 hour games.
@kyleforrester87 As the owner of an indie of over a decade, we have received copies of games earlier than 2-3 days before release on a couple of occasions at max. If they are out earlier than that like Resi is, they are being released by big companies who have direct purchasing contacts with the publishers therefore getting them earlier than Indies. We haven't received our Resi stock yet and the official Indies distributor for Capcom also hasn't got their stock so can't be Indies unless they're getting them somewhere dodgy.
@Grimwood Sounds like Pushsquare prefer digital with the way they said that. Where would they be with out that bit of plastic or cardboard, have a bit of respect for the roots of gaming please.
@GoodGame @Voltan Maximum haven't got to retailers yet to tell them the wholesale price hence the placeholder of £70. Expect the real prices to show up in the next day or two.
@Cikajovazmaj Merging is not financially viable but the doubling up needs to stop, its the reason I've stopped my sub for Now. Go back to more indie games and save the AAAs for Plus.
@BAMozzy It really isn't fanboyism though. It is kind of the truth. Microsoft exclusives this gen have not been as successful or as polished as Sony's, it's the simple truth. I don't think any Xbox fan should be happy with what they have been given this time around considering exclusives. Don't defend Microsoft for their poor execution, they need to up their game.
