I've just cancelled my PS Direct Pro order and ordered from Argos instead (UK). Double Nectar points at the mo, and will use those plus others I've accumulated towards a Disc Drive in the future. That should slightly blunt the blow of having to buy it separately. 😒 Plus more payment options, such as Paypal Credit (with 0% interest).
@Uppie85 Definitely a lottery! I joined at exactly the same time but had a 20 minute wait in the end. Sounds like I was still lucky, relatively speaking. Thrilled for you that you got a 30th edition; congrats!
I got in at 10:15 and the 30th Pro bundle was already "currently unavailable". A shame because, as others have said, I was pleasantly surprised by the price. Nonetheless, feeling fortunate that I grabbed a regular Pro and 30th DualSense. I did receive confirmation emails, too; instantly. I also payed with PayPal and only received a notification for £24.99 which, I presume, is for the vertical stand I also ordered and that isn't a preorder.
