As the patent below indicated what Sony mentioned about the home entertainment system

US 10 ,245,505 B2/
GENERATING CUSTOM RECORDINGS OF SKELETAL ANIMATIONS

"Users may use any number of different home entertain determined skeletal-based body parts are mapped to the entertainment systems 120 , such as game consoles , gaming systems, set-top boxes , Blu - Ray® players , or a home entertainment may be stored in memory and played during play of a game device ( e. g ., Sony PlayStation®3 or Playstation®4)."

This is not about Xbox or WiiU/NS, it is about a patent which allow a universal controller that can control not only gaming console such as PS but also STB or Blu-ray player. These STB or Blu-ray player usually considering with lower end CPU than the video game console.

Sony mention this because they want to make the patent protection not only in the high end video game console but also into the low end of STB or blu-ray player. If Sony did not mention this, it will make this controller only link to the high end of gaming console. If anybody who want to use the low end home entertainment system with this controller technique, they could by pass this patent.

It is a fair description just mention this controller doesn't necessary to use high end CPU to make it work.

I don't know who the patent expert is, but I think as an expert he should read the whole article to tell a story. Instead of only capture a little part of the article then tell a story.
