@MrPeanutbutterz "Probing the information they've provided, the phone verification does this...
'This verification relies on matching the information your mobile provider has on file for you. As long as you are the owner of the phone contract and your details match, you’ll be able to confirm your details.'
What the actual hell. So they cross reference the data with your mobile provider... I'm not sure the mobile provider can furnish a third party with that sort of information."
This is highly concerning. Aren't the mobile providers in breach of GDPR by handing people's details over to Sony when asked for them? On the face of it, it seems like the mobile number option is the least 'intrusive', but I'm confused as to how the consent works here between companies.
@AndyKazama that's the collector's edition, unfortunately. I was all ready to get it but £71 on shipping pushes the £160 edition up well over £200 so nah.
If this is real, this will be great! This is the reason I have two controllers so that I can use one while the other is charging. It'd be nice to only need one.
This is why I don't buy modern fighting games any more. Waaaay too many microtransactions. I'd rather emulate the older ones where you unlocked characters and outfits by playing.
Great month! I’ve had Endling on my wish list for months and Alan Wake intrigued me but never enough to buy it (never owned a 360 either so it’ll be totally new to me). COD…eh. Maybe I’ll give the campaign a go but I’m not a multiplayer gamer.

Re: PS5, PS4 Fans Baffled by Sony's Decision to Promote Shovelware
I wish I could blacklist publishers so their 'games' just never show on my PS5's store. This junk got out of hand a long time ago.
Re: Don't Worry, You Can Add an Ultra HD Disc Drive to PS5 Pro
@Dodoo I feel like a lot of people forgot this. I feel like the 'pro' features should have been there for PS5 from the beginning.

Inflation for a digital in-game currency? Bugger off, Epic.
