As of 22:50 on PS Direct they are back in stock. This is an enthusiast only console so average gamers/budgets won't be interested anyway. Therefore they will manufacture less units/stock accordingly. I don't think it will be issue getting standard PS5 Pro (unless you want 30th Anniversary Bundle) provided you have the money for it.
If it launces in 2024 or 2025 it would be interesting to see the price difference and sale numbers of the PS5 Pro and how this would impact standard PS5 sales numbers.
I'll probably get it but only if all games are updated to take advantage of the increased performance/features, otherwise not really worth it for me.
Demo was cool, but for USD 70 bit steep for a 25 hour game. Will most likely get it when it's like USD 40 range in a sale (or on PC when it releases as a timed exclusive, PC games are cheaper anyway to buy).
Complete and utter disappointment! Spider man 2 looks cool but rest of showcase was trash. Where's TLOU2 factions, next Uncharted, next Horizon, etc. Doesn't fill me with much confidence for the future of playstation studios on PS5. Was also considering getting PSVR2 but there is literally one exclusive (Horizon) that I'm interested in. So forget that.
Solid review. The hardware seems great (lenses are the older style ones which is disappointing longer term for future proofing) but only one launch exclusive title for nearly 600 smackers.
I've had every PS hardware system released but can't justify getting this one at launch not worth it because of lack of first party titles. Hopefully in a year or so a few more first party titles will launch.
MLB The Show 21 and Nioh 1 Complete Edition/Nioh 2 Complete Edition are also on PC and non PS consoles, so are are not exclusive titles. Death Stranding Directors Cut will probs come to PC as well pretty soon (although technically a PS5 exclusive at launch). Cool list though.
This DLC is meh to be honest. I've platinumed every AC game since AC II. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on the DLC, but the base game is good (possibly wait for deep sale). Hopefully the second DLC will be better.
Most likely waiting on Microsoft to announce their price, and also finishing off development of some launch titles (possibly Demon's Souls) before announcing it in one live stream. My estimate is $499/$399 launching on 13th Nov 2020.
Biggest cost over lifespan of the console will be PS5 games/titles. They will be approx £59.99/€69.99/$69.99.
That get expensive fast/where costs will build up and where Sony will most likely recoup their costs/make a lot of profit.
Provided I can get one (pre-orders don't sell out straight away) I will getting one on launch (disk-drive version as have many PS4 physical titles).
Compared to a similar specced PC (which is always best platform in my opinion) the PS5 is good value. Similarly specced PC would be like £1500, around 3 times the price, albeit with cheaper titles.

Re: Elden Ring's Massive Shadow of the Erdtree DLC Doesn't Have Any Trophies on PS5, PS4
Disappointing not gonna lie but this DLC may go down as one of the greatest DLCs of all time. Most likely a 9 or 10/10 from most reviewers.
Would be crazy not to play it just due lack of trophy support (coming from an OCD trophy hunter where every game in my list has to be at 100 percent).

Probably a 7 or 8/10 game imo.

Re: Fresh Batch of PSVR2 Pre-Order Invites Sent Out in Europe
I just ordered mine from PlayStation Direct website (in UK). No invite required (I didn't get an invite).
Re: Poll: When Do You Think God of War Ragnarok Will Release?
Oct 22 is my guess. I'm pretty confident it will launch late-22/Q4-22.
Re: Returnal (PS5) - Housemarque's Deep, Dark Shooter Is a PS5 Must Have
Best "only on PS5 true exclusive" title by miles. No competition (well maybe Demon's Souls but that's quite clunky controls wise).
Easily worth the money.
Re: Gran Turismo 7's PS5, PS4 Platinum Will Be Time Consuming But Attainable
Hyped for GT7 on PS5. Haven't bought and played a GT game since GT3 on PS2. Only thing putting me off is the GBP 70 price tag...sheesh.
So many good games coming out this year. Decisions decisions I wish my wallet could accommodate them all.
