Never actually left a comment before! I’ve just decided to get back into this game, hadn’t played it since midway through last year. I’d always liked the overall story, setting and such even if some of the personal storyline and relationships felt a bit rushed and schizophrenic, and liked a lot of the mechanics such as saving by your bike and the Hordes which increased the survival horror feel. Going back to it around a year later with all its patches and such it is definitely much nicer and more pleasing to play as well! The story and setting is still as lovely as before but it feels more rewarding. It’s also kind of depressingly ominous to get stuck into during a global pandemic. Much less escapism than pessimist hypothesising.
