@KALofKRYPTON You can turn all of that crap off fortunately! The only thing its maybe good for is sport, but it just makes movies and television look unnatural imo. It doesn't help much for gaming either as the input lag goes through the roof!

Mmm, not sure about this one. Looks like they have put too much focus on what I consider to be the worst part of Assassin's Creed III: naval combat. I also fear that the world will once again be too vast to actually gain any real familiarity with your surroundings which would be a shame as they do look fantastic! Not going to be a day one purchase for me ...

I cannot comprehend how this has been achieved on such old hardware. I really hope this is representative of how smoothly it will run in reality and intrigued to know what res it is rendering at before being upscaled. I can only conclude that Rockstar are magicians.

@Sanquine Going on today's exchange rate €499 = £424, so the price in Europe will be the same essentially.

1st game was alright, 2nd was great, 3rd was just over too over the top for me. I'm clearly in the minority here, but I really have zero interest in this game.

@get2sammyb Not officially, but I would be very surprised if it wasn't unleashed a few months after the console releases.

@get2sammyb and so it should! I must agree, it looks epic. What I can't figure out is how on earth this is going to run at a decent frame-rate on the current consoles without some serious witchcraft. Do you suppose this is all captured from the PC version?

@WCamicase I can't agree more. I also have both systems but my xbox has been collecting dust for about 2 years now.

@nathanuc1988 I had high hopes for WRC3 and picked it up the other day, but I'm just not enjoying it at all. It just feels too disconnected. I can't wait for the WRC license to pass onto a different and hopefully more competent studio.

@get2sammyb True regarding the price, I preordered and picked it up for a measly 30 quid. Low on price, high on quality ... hopefully other publishers take note.

@GetUsum03 Why exactly would you want this out of interest? For flash games or playing videos through the browser? The latter reason shouldn't be an issue soon with HTML5 video becoming more widely used.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this and would recommend it to anyone. The story is solid, great game mechanics and combat, and very entertaining. My only wish is that the hunting aspect had more to it than just gaining XP - it would have been interesting if it was essential for survival. I totally agree with your thoughts on the bow. It's a great weapon and very satisfying to use (especially for headshots). This is also one of the best looking games that I've played on the PS3, it's gorgeous.

After all the whining that PD did about the PS3 not having enough power for them to achieve everything that they wanted to in GT5, I would be pretty surprised if GT6 ended up on the PS3.

Wow, no-one even mentioned Rayman Origins? I thought that was pretty great!

Personally I would just be happy if all games could run natively at 1080p with a good dollop of anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering.

Personally it doesn't bother me. I'd rather they actively release fixes (which are optional after all) than just leave bugs unresolved for months on end. It could be argued that they shouldn't be releasing firmware with bugs and should instead do proper QA and testing, but that's something else altogether.

I also have a code if anyone wants it ...
