Im so glad to see the game out as a download! This one was begging to rerelease on modern game consoles! I can't wait to play four player with my friends!
Free is the way to go; this enables consumers to try these games when they are least inclined to purchase for a price.
These AR card-based games are very much a page taken from Nintendo. Could it be possible Sony plans for more detailed AR games than compared to Nintendo?
He sure has some great games under his belt, but the man definitely likes change. I read something about him every few years quitting different divisions. I really wonder what kind of casual games he's planning; maybe some VITA games since it says portable projects?
Hmmm I wish Team Bondi wasn't the sweatshop for the game industry; apparently they way over worked their staff and failed to pay them for the hours. The company was shut down due to these issues, lawsuits, and over budgeting; too bad indeed.
My gf picked this game up for me for Xmas. She got the 360 version and it's 4 discs! I feel like I'm in the psone days!
@Pheonixborn I hear so much praise for Skyrim, let alone Oblivion but I just can't get into them. Is Skyrim really that good?
I am currently playing Red Dead Redemption on the 360 (because of the resolution increase, clearer textures) and love it. Ive always been a third-person fan, so maybe thats why i can't get into Skyrim due to the first-person view (I know there is a third-person option).
I remember when infamous released it was in direct competition to Prototype. I still hear gamers talking about infamous, some just now discovering it; I have not even heard the same praise towards Prototype.
I missed it when it first released on PSP. I nearly bought the HD collection that released on ps3 but now that I'm getting a VITA, I might download this game from the SEN (Playstation Network changed to Sony Entertaiment Network).
Thats the reason why there is no Playstation smart phone; the focus of hardcore gaming would be lost. I thinks it's just fine to have these sort of features as long as they are additions and convienent on one device. I think Sony has a great understanding of what gamers want, even if Nintendo releases a Mario or Zelda every few years.
As I've grown older, I fondly remember my first time playing a Mario game on the NES, but I think games like Uncharted will have a lasting impact for the future going forward.
I really enjoyed this game but a lot of my local friends weren't as impressed; I might of hyped the game a bit too much and caused unrealistic expectations. However, I still feel same when I first bought it. I think I would have put even more hours into it if friends felt the same as I for Modnation Racers.
I am eagerly awaiting the VITA version, Road Trip, as it appears to be even better than the ps3 version. I love the idea to create new levels with the touchscreen!
Looks like @DarkKirby was trying explain a lot in what should be shorter. So yes, there is some of those kind of games on almost every system, I do understand its not like everyone supports them. In the US we have different views on sexuality for sure. But I think its better Japan has these type of games instead full on hentai!
Yeah it is natural to the Japanese. Theres also a 3DS game releasing there called, If I Were Sealed in a Room with a Girl; I not kidding either. Check out some of the screenshots at http://www.3ds-screenshot.com If you go to the link on your 3DS, you can view them in stereophonic 3D!
@James Yeah I'm glad the guy knew his stuff however, I knew SC V was releasing soon and already played SC IV with friends awhile ago. I thought it was funny he even said it to me!
@dakNjaxter yeah it's only so you can download them on the ps3 separately instead of buying the retail package. I think it would be great to see these games on VITA but just as @get2sammyb said, the games would have to be ported to VITA. I don't think it would be too incredibly hard to do it since development is similar to a ps3!
Haha I love how you disliked the God of War games but beat them. I just like to think of Kratos as an "Unreasonably Mad Guy."
I purchased Bayonetta on PS3 but once I found out Platinum Games only developed the game on the 360, with no frame rate issues or load times, I sadly had to experience the game that way, only. I really wish the PS3 version was up to par, but porting can be challenging I guess.
I absolutely love U2! I so want to play U3 and Golden Abyss!
GOW III's beginning was also stunning, it made the first two games look like a practice match. I enjoy the first two games but I felt the second game had a poor paced ending; something about it seemed rushed and the developers couldn't figure out how to end it. I did think it was a good overall title though!
I cannot recommend the first two games enough; I really cannot believe the quality in these titles. Naughty Dog is the king.
I have yet to play uncharted 3; it's killing me inside. Plus Uncharted Golden Abyss looks amazing for VITA; its not made by Naughty Dog however, they were a major helping hand.
I really want to get back and play Wipeout HD before I get Wipeout 2048 for VITA! Speaking of Ridge Racer for VITA, I just at Modojo.com that Namco Bandai plans to give the dlc for free!
Ha, I went to my bookmark for vitagamr.com then this site showed up; I knew right away what happened and love the new site! It's great to see the same treatment for a Sony fan site as you have with Nintendo. Great work guys!
The first trailer gives me the feeling of The Walking Dead and Enslaved. Naughty Dog is a very vital second party developer for Sony; I like to think of them as the Pixar for the industry.
Goin back on topic of The Last of Us, I think this will be an exciting game. I just hope it actually releases this year. Since Naughty Dog is setup as two separate teams, it likely it won't but I just get worried lol.
Seeing as how FF XIV turned out and even the president of Square-Enix blamed the financial loss of the company due to the game, I'm just glad FF XIII was decent.
This was a great review for a good FF game! I might have to revisit it since XIII-2 is coming!
I try explain to others that these games are the "Zelda" for Playstation. It's nearly impossible for them understand there is other great games on other great consoles if it isn't Nintendo or a Call of Duty.
Sony recently released these games separately on PSN, which is a smart move. I think the collection is the best way to expeeience these Sony gems.
Yeah I read about this on another site, too bad seeing as how Little Deviants looks fun. However, it doesn't mean another Pursuit Force can be made from another division.
Now, now, let's not talk smartphone and gaming handhelds comparison!
To get on topic, Gravity Rush looks great; I can't help but think of Jet Set Radio when I first saw this game. And that's a good thing because that game was awesome.
I really wasnt sure about PS Vita but the more I look into it the more I'm getting excited...

Re: Talking Point: Are Vita's PSN Prices Right?
I think its great to offer a free version of a game on another platform. I couldnt imagine paying for a game two times!
I got myself a 4GB Vita card for now. I'm betting a year or so we'll see cheaper options.
Re: Mortal Kombat Vita Takes Gore on the Go
I loved the trailer, looks like they have it spot on compared to the console versions! I cannot wait.
Re: Sony Expands Single Price Offers for PS Vita Launch Titles
I recently ordered wipeout 2048 for the Vita, already assuming the PS3 version would be free. I'm glad my instincts were correct!

Re: Review: 3D Dot Game Heroes (PlayStation 3)
I have yet to play this, far too many games to play.... It is on my list though!
Re: LittleBigPlanet Driving Back to PlayStation 3?
Hmmm I don't know, it seems a step down from lbp2, which already allows racing..
I kinda think another Second party dev is working on this; couldn't be Media Molecule, right?

Re: Review: God of War: Ghost of Sparta (PlayStation Portable)
@rhejr I think Chains of Olympus was a pretty good first GOW PSP game. It's short but necessary for the story and fleshing out Kratos.

I played the demo a few years ago PSP; fun but the graphics turned me off. The new VITA one looks loads better!

Re: Early Warning: Don't Delete Your Mass Effect 3 Save
Geez, I really need to play the original on the 360. I want to get into these games but something is mentally blocking my motivation or something...

Re: Feature: Must-Have PlayStation 3 Games - Sammy's Picks
@ShogunRok I really hope the gunfights aren't that hard in U3 as your saying! I struggled in a lot of the gunfight scenes in U2!

Re: First Impressions: MotorStorm RC
I actually stopped playing the Motorstorm games after the 2006 original. I need to get caught up!
That aside, though this is a technically a far different experience, I'll still check it out when it releases!
Re: Review: PlayStation Vita Hardware
Yeah I'm kinda bummed about the memory card idea but I bet some third party may make an adapter to allow micro sd cards.
One thing I wonder about is the reason for a new memory format; maybe the new cards have a faster transfer rate?
Re: Review: PlayStation Vita Hardware
@Gambitttt yeah it could be a good year until a price drop, especially if it is successful in the market.
Speaking of pricing, I'm glad Nintendo dropped the price of their 3DS!
Re: First Impressions: Welcome Park
Thanks for posting more on the built-in software! I'll have to check them out when I get myself a Vita!
Re: Unit 13 Ships Out March 6th
I think this game shall be a good one for Sony; tight gameplay and decent graphics along with good controls can be helpful.
Zipper Interactive did a decent job with Socom 4 but the delay back then was not good; it showed how difficult it was to develop for motion controls.
Re: ModNation Vita Has No Online Racing & No ModSpot
I kind of wonder that future updates or dlc may add online head to head play; the developers did an awesome job with updates to the ps3 original.
Re: Nyko Shows Off New PS Vita Accessories
I'm so glad to see how fast Nyko reacts to release peripherls; it just nice.

Re: Tecmo Koei Confirms Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for North American Vita Launch
Awesome, I missed Sigma on PS3. This ought to be a fun one! The Xbox original was good but for some reason a portable version could wet my fancy.
