@Max_the_German I actually agree, but Marathon is a good game unfortunately being thrown on the blade to speak up for GAAS slop. This is a wrongful execution for an undoubtedly prevalent crime.
@x3King84 I agree, pre-determining and then marketing that pre-determined future through a website directly targeting the game is toxic and speaks to its motive more than a generic name would’ve served. Marathon’s great and it’s got some competition, of course, but from what I can tell in this community, it’s an understandable hatred of live service in general. Though, I believe that some of that vitriol is aided by the Arc fans that want to bring down the game to defend their game, unfortunate and sad really. I think Arc’s great, no sweat off my back! And reminder to those reading that most of these AAA live service games are truly free to play, not pay to win. Haven’t spent a dime in years. The $40 barrier to entry is nothing new with Helldivers 2 and Arc Raiders, and I’m happy to enter for that quality. This is Bungie, not Naughty Dog, so look, I’m all for seeing better, perhaps more expedient delivery in single player games but, using extrapolation as tool to directly attack a single game, that a significant core of fans like, is vile and, unfortunately, an evolution of classic internet hatred.

Re: Morrowind-Style RPG Dread Delusion Is Suddenly Less Than One Week Away on PS5
Dude this looks sick, might be a day one buy, wish the industry would be more comfortable with older aesthetics outside of the current retrobait
