After a spate of delistings and server shutdowns in March and April, the next couple of months are looking a lot more relaxed on the PS Store.
Of course, as is pretty much always the case, there are half-dozen or so things you need to be aware of.
Here’s the upcoming schedule of potential disruption you should know about:
- Pinball FX3 (PS4): TBC May (Hidden from PS Store)
- Rec Room (PS5, PS4): 1st May (In-Game Purchases Disabled); 1st June (Online Services Disabled)
- Battlefield Hardline (PS4): 22nd May (Delisted); 22nd June (Online Services Disabled)
- Pinball FX (PS4): 1st June (Support Ending)
- Pinball M (PS4): 1st June (Support Ending)
- Horizon Chase Turbo (PS4): 1st June (Delisted)

There’s no real headline delisting or server closure here; we suppose you’ll be affected depending on what you play.
But we would say we’re slowly starting to see the phasing out of PS4 across some smaller titles as it approaches 13 years since launch.
The situation with Pinball FX is an example of that, and a quite complicated one actually.
Pinball FX3 will be hidden but crucially not removed from the PS Store at some point in May. Zen Studios hasn’t attached a specific date to that.
It means the game will remain playable and all of its DLC will still be purchasable from within the client itself, but new players won’t be able to find it and it’ll effectively be delisted to them.
Sticking with Pinball FX, the PS4 versions of the main game and Pinball M – renamed to Pinball FX Midnight recently – will remain on the PS Store as normal, but they’ll cease receiving new DLC and updates starting 1st June.
The PS5 versions will be unaffected aside from the aforementioned name change.
Meanwhile, all in-game purchases in social game Rec Room will be disabled on 1st May, with the whole thing taken offline on 1st June. This is true across both PS5 and PS4, as well as PSVR.
Battlefield Hardline’s PS4 version will be delisted on 22nd May. Servers will remain online for another month, before being disabled entirely on 22nd June. The PS3 version is already offline.
Finally, following all of the layoffs at Epic Games, Horizon Chase Turbo will be delisted from the PS Store on 1st June. This will include DLC packs, like Senna Forever, as well. Existing copies will remain in your digital game library, and Horizon Chase 2 will be unaffected on both the PS5 and PS4.
That’s the full breakdown of everything you need to know here, then. Of course, we’ll check-in periodically and update if any other last minute delistings emerge.

Horizon is surprising. Racing games do tend to have loads of license issues but can't think of any for that one, aside from the senna dlc I guess.
It's a fun arcade racer if anyone's not tried it, outrun/turbo lotus esprit vibes.
I have Horizon Chase Turbo digitally (I believe it was free with ps+ at some point years ago). So how does this work? Does it go away because I don’t actually ‘own’ it digitally? Do I get to keep it as long as I stay subscribed to ps+? If I let my subscription lapse and then renew it at some point later on, am I still able to redownload it?
Very befuddling. Yet another reason owning a game physically is the superior option.
@Balaam_ that's what I'm wondering, it was free with ps+ a long while ago and in my library
Feel bad for horizon. I hope it’ll remain on the google play store at least as mobile gaming is the intended way to play it, if not I guess I’ll find an archived apk somewhere.
@Balaam_ brother if they shut down a server it doesn’t matter if you own the game physically.
