You’ll always need the latest PlayStation for Gran Turismo and Astrobot. They know exactly what sells consoles. I own a ps5 pro purely for those 2 games knowing they’re never coming to any other platform. PS6 will be the same.

Games alright if you brute force it with a 5090. Story is a bit generic but for £24.99 or so I’d buy it.

oooh lets see GT7 in the RT mode with an unlocked framerate please. I had to turn off the PSSR1.0 because of the weird wiggling pixels.

If I didn’t have a PC I’d appreciate it more but I definitely regret getting the pro seeing as Gran Turismo 7 is the only thing I can’t play on my PC in DLAA above 4k maxed out. Oh Astro Bot too but I’ve totally finished that game.

Happy to buy on ps5 pro over pc on this one as you know it’ll be identical technically and have an insanely good pssr

I sadly don’t know anyone that managed to get further than a single chapter of edge of eternity due to boredom and visual bugs. Also they never really finished the game either.

I hate PSSRs look in motion in all games that have it. I disable it where I can like GT7. Existing solutions are clearer. I am feeling benefit from the PS5 Pro in most patched titles but without more CPU on tap I do feel like I’ve been mis-sold when the £700 could have gone towards trading my 4090 for a 5090 in the new year.

I hope games like this, Astrobot, Rebirth etc get a good 50% sale on launch day or I’ll only be able to afford 1 digital game when I clearly want 3. Can’t find a disc drive anywhere.

Having just finished Alan Wake 2 I say Epic can safely throw all the money in the world at any game directed by Sam Lake. The man is a genius and that was quite simply one of the top 10 greatest media products ever made. Seriously play Alan’s half of the story and you’ll see the absolute madness just beyond halfway.

I did 8/10 because it only really has a low difficulty and the performance mode is awful.

174 hours of cinematica but only a 200 hour game. Somethings got to give in these stats.

WRC generations is absolutely amazing and I play leagues and solo leagues every single day since launch. The handling model and challenge are just absolutely perfect. I always felt with Dirt Rally 1+2 that some cars and rallies are similar but the experience is so inconsistent with being able to even keep some of the cars in the right direction that if they want to be a mainstream rally game they need to work on accessibility as Dirt Rally is nowhere near accessible enough. The upgrades system in WRC generations is also way better than anything seen from Codemasters literally ever. I’m sad it’s changed devs as I’ve been enjoying all of the last 11 games under the previous license.

I’m so glad this won’t be out until after the next US election as the fallout of the story in this on modern culture could have handed it to the Dems.

How timed exclusive is this to Ps5? Thinking PC here not Xbox. I have a good GPU and would like to let it eat this.
