This isn’t an improvement. With PS Stars I could earn $5 gift cards to spend towards things I wanted. Now I get the privilege of earning the ability to give them money for merch. Yay! I’m being “rewarded”. Seems like we are funding a reward system for Sony, not the other way around.
Having played several hours of the game, it deserves lower scores than it has. Not because of the reasons that it is getting review bombed, but because it is just a 'meh' game.
The game looks great, but the art style doesn't fit the universe, or the tone they are trying to portray.
The combat is fun, but is super repetitive. Over time it just gets boring.
Narrative is interesting solely because it is the continuation of Inquisition's story, and even then, most of the time loses my interest. Most of the time your dialog choices doesn't seem to matter at all. A lot of the choices are saying the same thing, but with a different tone. Reminds me of how Fallout 4's dialog was handled.
The biggest issue is that this doesn't feel like a Dragon Age game. It feels like they just took a big name and attached it to a product to get sales.
If I was reviewing the game, I would be looking at a 6 or 7 out of 10.
Can't wait for this one. Was hoping for a 60 fps patch for the original with this announcement as well. Oh well, will have to just play the original again as is.
@ATaco yeah, Atlas could totally change their minds. But the production manager has been quoted saying they are “not considering a revision like with Persona 5 to Persona 5 Royal.”
Devs have said they don’t plan on releasing a refreshed version of this one. Which, if the rumors are true, would make sense due to The Answer being added to this version as DLC at a later date.
Sadly no plans for FeMC DLC though.
Having played FES and Portable, Reload still seems like it will be the best version.
It could be heard from anywhere in my house when I turned on the PS5, which is why physically took it out. Good to see they finally added the option though for those who dont want to take apart the console to remove it. Ha.
Good games to add to my backlog, because like @AdamNovice said... Horizon will be what I play in Feb. But I will look forward to playing Planet Coaster and Tiny Tinas.. dont care about UFC.
@Bamila felt the same way. After some Googling, still don’t know… which is why I am guessing they did not include it. Found one article that said Far Cry 5 was Ubisofts highest selling game of all time, but don’t know if that means it is the most profitable.
@Agramonte looks like it will have new story content, new weapons, new vehicles, new missions, and a new area to explore (according to the game description on the ps store)
Over on the ps blog it says it is coming to "PlayStation 4 consoles with backwards compatibility on PlayStation 5 systems". Since it is backwards compatibility... probably no PS5 specific features.

Re: Microtransactions Reach New Low in Call of Duty
Next year they will be scaling back the microtransaction ads in the menus. They will just make you purchase the bullets for the guns with real money.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner Mine was very loud.

Re: Poll: Will You Be Muting Your PS5's Beep?
I actually took my PS5 apart and disabled the piezo speaker that made the beep a while back. Worst "feature" of the PS5.

Re: Zenith: The Last City, an Ambitious PSVR MMO, Launches 27th January
@danzoEX If the game is supported by PSVR2. With the change in control scheme, backwards compatibility is looking questionable.
