I think the problem is ... LEGO games work better for IP that has its own appeal. Horizon isn't really driven by lovable or legendary characters with huge followings (though I do like Aloy). It's about a huge, gorgeous open world, it's about odd and unique enemies, it's about interesting lore and teasing apart an ongoing mystery about the end of the world and stopping a second apocalypse.

Literally none of these things carry over well to a Lego game. There's no reason for most horizon fans to buy this, and kids who love characters and recognizable IP aren't into it to begin with.
