wow Sony really doesn't want any more of my money for game editions, if their digital code for any special edition is anything to go by. The only reasoning that made sense, was them not wanting to make 3 different CE's for a game, but this doesn't make a lick of sense now that games are leaving the ps4 behind.
Like whats the point of a digital exclusive special edition, when you're going to add a digital code to the physical CE?
Looks like it's basic edition for any Sony first party game from now on. Pretty bummed about that ngl
I bought the physical goty edition last year and just recently started playing. The game is pretty darn good, feels kind of incomplete without all the dlc, since you waste time exploring just to see that the potential pathway you made it to, requires a specific dlc.
I'll definitely get the physical castlebania edition as well, but it sucks that the level generation doesn't account for the dlcs you don't have.
This was definitely their worst showcase yet, it's definitely down there with some of their worse state of plays. Like sony really came in with quantity over quality this time. Like we haven't heard any significant news from them in almost 2 years. This definitely wasn't it.
The 60/40 split in favor of multi-player games is definitely concerning, since I and many others here prefer playstations singleplayer projects. I will try and be somewhat optimistic though since a live service game isn't necessarily a bad thing. As longs as the games are good I won't be complaining
Hey at least Sony can beat the "hates japan" allegations since the whole japan studios kerfuffle.
Jokes aside, the only game I've ever seen of the studio (at least marketing wise) was concrete genie. Even saw the game at gamescom a few years ago, but I was incredibly unimpressed and never took another glance at the game.
People always talk about games needing to be quirky or whatever, if the game isn't good it doesn't matter how quirky it is because people won't care. Or at least enough people to make a game worth the cost in the eyes of the publisher at least.
I don't revel in the closure of studios, but the gaming landscape unfortunately is no charity.
I still don't get why exactly they chose gravity rush for an adaption. It's one of the most overlooked/unknown playstation ip of recent memory (rightfully so btw).
A bloodborne animated series would've been a lot more interesting.
Given Mihoyos track record, this game probably won't have a lot of depth to it. Which is pretty sad since their games have the potential to be great, but always end up aiming for an ultra casual experience in the end.
I'll definitely check it out once it arrives. Given froms track record of dlc releases, my complaints of the main game regarding reused bosses and bloat should be rectified.
Only unfortunate thing is that the amount of fromsoft fanboys is going to spike again.

Re: Instant Character Swapping in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Is Unlimited in the Open World
I'll try and play both spider-men equally, but I'll probably gravitate more to miles tbh.

Re: Hidetaka Miyazaki Says Elden Ring's Success Won't Determine What Comes Next
I hope the pvp system in froms game won't be too intrusive in their next game. Invasions are probably my least favorite aspect in from games.
