1. You can only play the position you're locked to in RTTS, and have to sim games until you can request a new change. Before, there was a version of your create a player for every position.
2. It used to cost up to 200k stubs in order to have a maxed out create-a-player with diamond gear and stats. Now people are making videos where they spend 1M stubs.
"Some had complained that they felt like the series was pushing them towards microtransactions – we don’t agree"
When people are making videos of them spending 5x the previous amount required, this is 100% a move to further monetize the game.
You'd think that with how many games that have died to greed and MTX in the past decade, you wouldn't be ignorant enough to not see the signs.

You're literally the reason why companies get to view us as dollar signs and not customers that they need to keep happy.
Glad you love that Gran Turismo is now a job instead of a game with progression, though.
