Sony need to rename their crap for a start. How is anyone supposed to know what "PlayStation Now" is from the name? "Gamepass" is pretty obvious in comparison.
Sony desperately need to do something. They have a significantly inferior console hardware specification for the second generation in a row and Microsoft are wiping the floor with them in A1 game studio acquisitions and online subscriptions and cloud gaming to fund them.
@TheRedComet It won't ever be a "bottleneck". Just like it isnt for the PC master race. Assets and performance will simply be adjusted to fit the capabilities.
@SirAngry Only because the dev systems for Xbox are PCs. They have shown plenty of footage capured from the game engines on dev systems. We already know the series X is somewhat better GPU, CPU and memory bw spec'd than the PS5 anyway.
@BNAG_Gamer I think you are confused. Xbox series S has the same next gen RDNA2 GPU as the Xbox series X. Just with fewer CUs. So next gen graphics with raytracing etc at 1440p native instead of 4K.
When its the same cost for PS5 as Xbox Series X but XSX has faster CPU, GPU, graphics memory, more disk space, no thermal budget and proper Dolby Atmos surround sound that doesnt only work on special headphones I have made up my mind. XSX for me.

@Flyin45s Everyone I know is. Lots of PS4 owners are moving to series X for Gamepass and the better hardware specs.

@TheRedComet specs say it has 10GB of RAM. And developers have managed this for years on PC. Simply not an issue.

@TheRedComet if its optimised for Series X then its already mostly optimised for series S which has the same CPU and GPU - just with fewer CUs.

Its soooo ugly and weird looking. Such an eye sore. You would have thought sony could have made something that looked better.

Sony are stuffed. Microsoft have undercut them at the low end and the XSX has significantly higher performance at the high end.

It would have to be at least £50 cheaper than the Xbox Series X for me to bite as the PS5 will offer significantly lower graphics performance.
