Why do so many of these have to be 16-bit? It would be nice to have a good schmup with modern graphics. Doesn't need to be the fanciest running at 160 fps, just something better than 30 year old tech. I get the need for nostalgia but leave it in the past.
I like action games, until I see the words "rouguelike" or "soulslike", then I'm out. Which is, of course, everything these days. I saw the review for this one said it had light soulslike, anyone know how light?
Good news for Larian. Honestly, unlocking mod support means it will live on forever, with fans creating entire modules and adventures out of it, you'll see, so they didn't need to do anything else. But the more Hasbro tightens its grip on D&D, the more its slipping through their fingers, and if the last year or so tells us anything, we may need to be ready for some bad times ahead until they're done milking it and someone else can cast Resurrection on it.
Having just finished an evil run, the "control" ending certainly felt abrupt, especially compared to the other endings with the 6 month epilogue, so hopefully they will add more
